A Beginner's Guide to Coins on Netarise
Everything you need to know about coins: how to earn them, what to spend them on, and how the economy keeps itself in check.
What are coins?
Coins are the primary virtual currency on Netarise. They are not real money, not crypto, and they have no value outside the platform. They power the entire economy: daily collection, share backing, and share rewards all run on coins.
How to earn coins
- Daily collection. Tap collect once per day. The amount scales with your plan tier and level.
- Streaks. Consecutive daily collection days multiply your earnings.
- Share rewards. When profiles you back receive new backing, you earn a portion of that activity, weighted by how many shares you hold and your plan tier.
- Leveling up. Some level milestones award bonus coins.
How to spend coins
The primary use is backing profiles: you spend coins to hold shares in other people, businesses, characters, brands, or artifacts. The more shares you hold in active, growing profiles, the more share rewards flow back to you.
What keeps the economy balanced
A small percentage of every transaction is burned, which means the total coin supply does not grow endlessly. Idle accounts also experience coin decay after a grace period, which keeps abandoned balances from flooding the economy. Artifacts (movies, music, videos, objects) act as additional coin sinks because they absorb coins without recirculating them. We cover the full picture in How Virtual Economies Work.
Coins and plans
Free users earn 100 coins per day. Higher plans earn more, up to 500 per day on Platinum. Share reward multipliers also increase with plan tier. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Tips for new users
- Collect every day to build your streak early.
- Back profiles you believe in. Diversifying across several active profiles increases your share reward flow.
- Do not hoard coins. They decay if idle. The platform rewards activity, not accumulation.
