The Iron Giant is a 50-foot-tall, metal-eating alien robot with amnesia. Despite advanced, destructive weapons, he is gentle and childlike. After befriending a boy named Hogarth, he learns the value of life and declares, "I am not a gun," ultimately sacrificing himself to save a town.
